The opening of the seventh
seal in Revelation 8:1 is accompanied by silence in heaven for about
half an hour.
JUDGEMENT DAY: The event that angels and saints have
anticipated for centuries upon centuries is coming. The year of the coming of the messiah. No one knows the specific date for when God is going to return
to earth and destroy all evil.
The Book of Revelations talks of diminishing faith,
increased violence, world wars, world catastrophes, and natural
disasters mounting shortly before His reappearance.
Many religious leaders look at today's crime rates, Tsunamis, earthquakes, hurricanes, wars being fought between nations, and the growing number of atheists as signs that God's return will be soon.
Signs Of the End Time:
A). Many false prophets will arise and deceive many. “For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Behold, I have told you before. Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not. For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.”. (Matthew 24:5, 6, 11, 23 - 27)
This is symbolic to the first horseman that evolved after the opening of the first seal in Revelation 6: 1-2. This horseman was obviously impersonating Christ, who is to come on a white horse in Revelation 19:11-15, but the difference is that Christ comes with a sharp sword, which is the word of God, but this horseman came with a bow and arrow, a different weapon, which symbolises a false doctrine that does not fully conform to the word of God.
Most of the world will be under the sway of a corrupt, counterfeit, idolatrous, religious and political system, one that has totally neglected and rejected the true teachings of Christ. Most of the world’s churches and religious organisations of today have departed from preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, to some self-willed, emotional, doctrines.
Very few Christians who are still preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God and keeping the commandments of Jesus Christ will be persecuted globally. “And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come” (Matthew 24:14).
B). Wars and rumours of wars (Matthew 24: 6-7). The
battle of Armageddon is when God will destroy the kingdom of satan and
his allies of demons and wicked spirits. (Revelations 16: 13-16; Ezekiel
38: 22) Also in Revelation 19: 11-21 this battle is clearly staged and won by God Almighty. Massive
armies from four of the world’s most powerful nations at the time will
engage in military action over the land of Israel that will take
hundreds of millions of lives.
These four powerful nations will probably be made up of:
1. The English speaking Nations –USA and Great Britain
2. Arab Nations –Iran, Egypt, Libya and allies
3. European Nations –Germany, Italy, Russia and France and allies; 4. Asian Nations –North Korea, Japan, China and allies.
C).
Famine, pestilence and disease: The immediate consequences of the wars
will result in global famine, pestilence and widespread killer diseases
–even more deadly than AIDS. This will cause more deaths, especially on
the wicked who do not acknowledge God’s commandments. Millions and
hundreds more will be swept away in 2010 as a result of these killer
diseases.
D). Tribulation, hatred, and killings for the sake of Christ. (Matthew 24: 9-10). A religious persecution will set in, like in the days of the early apostles and prophets. This period is identical to the opening of the sixth seal in Revelation 6: 9-11. Satan’s
rage against the natural, physical descendants of Israel and the
spiritual offspring of the woman, the Church, who keep the commandments
of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ will fierce and gruesome
(Revelation 12: 17).
The Great Tribulation
The
beast in Revelation 13 is a resurgence of the ancient Roman Empire that
ruled the holy land and most part of the world in the first century.
Peter, Paul, Andrew, Thomas, Mathew, Luke, Simon the Zealot, James,
Bartholomew, Mark, James the great, Phillip, Matthias, and Steven, to
mention a few, were all brutally murdered by the Roman Empire between
A.D. 31 and 96. Satan will use this coming emergence of the rejuvenated Roman Catholic Church which has the full backing and support of TEN other powerful nations to stage a principal war against Christ and His followers in 2010.
E). Abomination of Desolation, spoken by
Daniel. The persecution will be followed by the ‘Abomination of
Desolation’ (Whoso readeth, let him understand.) Satan,
knowing that his time is very short, will mobilize a deceived humanity
into a frenzy of hatred against anyone that represents the true God. Though many are prophesied to be martyred in this satan inspired
onslaught, the scriptures clearly reveals that for the sake of the
elect, those days will be shortened, and some will survive (Matthew 24:
22; Romans 9:27-28).
Notice that from the revealing of the antichrist on the wings of the Abomination that makes desolate, (When the anti-christ will stand in the temple at Jerusalem and proclaim himself as God) to the return of Christ, is exactly three and a half years. The Day of the Lord is a year of strife! Sufferings world over... The day of God's judgement means total upheaval of the society! However since those days will be shortened, it probably indicates that the Day of the Lord’s Judgement on the evil kingdom of satan will intercede the great tribulation.
Have a vivid view of the The Antichrist by the information in this major report.
“Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand; A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations” (Joel 2:1-2).
“The great day of
the LORD is near, it is near, and hasteth greatly, even the voice of the
day of the LORD: the mighty man shall cry there bitterly. That day is a
day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of wasteness and
desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick
darkness, a day of the trumpet and alarm against the fenced cities, and
against the high towers. And I will bring distress upon men, that they
shall walk like blind men, because they have sinned against the LORD:
and their blood shall be poured out as dust, and their flesh as the
dung” (Zephaniah 1:14-17).
The day of Judgment will be very brief because it is a time that will be too terrifying for anyone to stand (Isaiah 13:6). However,
because of His impending judgement, God will have to seal His saints
with the Holy Spirit and fire (like He did in Egypt during the Passover)
to shield them from the wrath to come.
The
seven trumpet plagues representing the seven final wrath of God will by
no means affect the saints who are sealed: the 144,000 in Revelation
7:3, and the great innumerable multitude (Revelation 7: 9-10). Just as
in Egypt during the ten plagues, as God protected the Israelites in
Egypt, He will also be able to protect these saints during the seven
trumpet sound. Ephesians 1: 13-14; 30, throws more light to this fact.
The
144,000 of Revelation 7 are again mentioned in Revelation 14, where it
becomes clear that these spiritual first fruits are those who repented
and were converted before the Day of the Lord. They were redeemed
without faults (Revelation 14:1-5). As for the innumerable multitude,
one angel revealed to John that they are the survivors of the great
tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the
blood of the Lamb, and will continue to live and be sheltered by God in
the sky after the great tribulation (Revelation 7:14-17).
THE KING IS COMING TO JUDGE THE NATIONS, TO GIVE EVERYONE ACCORDING TO THE FIERCENESS OF HIS WRATH!
“And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth” (Revelation 11:18). For more on the judgment of the world and the Great Tribulation read: Revelation 11:19; 19:20-21; Daniel 7:9-14; Matthew 24:30-31; Luke 21:26-28; Daniel 12:1-3.
The Rapture
At the second coming of Christ, there will first be a resurrection of the dead in Christ, followed by the rapture or ‘catching away’ of the saints who survived the Great Tribulation. Those who have been slain for the sake of Christ and the dead in Christ will rise first; then the saints who are alive will hear the sound of the last trumpet, and they will be quickened by the Spirit to see the Lord and be caught up to join the Him in the sky.
